Found out today that if you build a structure on your property and it has foundations, then you must submit building plans for approval first. Guess this outside aviary is going to take longer than I thought.

What would happen if you built it as an extension to a house? Would you have to go through the same thing?
Yep, even more of an issue, but I am considering doing the foundations as a small outbuilding on my property. That way if I ever move or change things, the foundations would be up to specification for a normal building.
